No class can really carry a bad healer.

I also never got kicked, but thats mainly because i dont do annoying things. People mostly get kicked if they tend to be asses, do obvious trolling or DPS making the tank uncomfortable.
Ofc there are exceptions, but im pretty sure most of these "lulz i was just giving advises man!" complaints, are people that did it in a harsh way.
As for myself, i only kickvoted people, when they were keep attacking the wrong target, even with marks, and the persons already having atleast one character on 50, back in the day, when i was leveling my paladin.

Which still amazes me, to this day. Considering this is my first (and so far only) mmo ive ever played.
I had no clue how to gear myself, and only just understood how to DPS properly (Thanks, Garuda EX...)

The only time Ive seen the vote to kick menu, is if someone has DCed for too long (usually try and give them 5 minutes to restart the game because...DCing happens. Especially on mondays if your on primal :P)

Tho, I have seen ALOT of vote abandons....which I usually ignore out right :P

I have been kicked *yes nod nod nod* but those were when I was underperforming (bad days/lags @ titan ex as a tank).

But~ I thought to myself, hey! I should check out the forums! It's been a while! (three exclamations worth) and am starting to wonder, why do people exaggerate so much here? The community isn't a bunch of a-holes as is portrayed by many here.

Could it perhaps be more of an attitude problem on your end than it is of others? It takes more than one hand to clap and vote kicks don't work alone. If you refuse to cooperate, then yeah, the chances of getting kicked is higher.

But, again, truly, why does it seem as if everything here is being exaggerated?

Never been kicked and usually I start a vote to kick someone if that person is AFK or dc 3 to 5 minutes ago even if that person has the worst gear or the worst dps I dont like to start a kick vote because they are learning and I was a noob once before as well. The FFXIV community it's really cool in cactuar or at least for me.

Never been kicked while I was online. Got 90k'd in CM and it took about 20 seconds to log back in and I find myself in Revenant's Toll. Community isn't bad but it can use more patients.

We don't need more people throwing up whenever they get kicked from a party. I don't think SE wants to make that kind of headlines.
