    Tank Idea?

    Ok, So we all know about the lack of people wanting to play as Tanks in the game (hence the shortage and wait times) So, Why is this? As far as i can tell Is due to playing as a tank is some what boring. Many tanks don't feel the need to use their defensive cool downs (most competent healers can cover a tank that does this) and literally the play style is somewhat of a "mash enmity abilitys"

    So how to fix? How about making a Tank class that you need to focus with. While we are at it lets make a off tank class? So Here's My Idea

    Iv been thinking about a tanking class that actually MANAGES Damage, Whether that's to himself or to and from the party.

    How about decreasing the damage delt to him/her self and then spreading the damage either across or to another member of the party (this could be great for combining existing tank jobs and give a use for having 2 tanks for things like say Titan hard mode?) Example? Tank Buster used on (lets call this new job "Job A") Job A, Job uses ability that decreases the damage by 10% and Shares damage with Off tank Paladin who activates sentinel, Thus the damage in total is decreased is 40% but the 60% is dealt Between The tanks.

    This could also be used backwards Eg, Tanking damage from other members of the party

    For a damage out put the one idea that i thought of would be along the lines of a sort of "pay back style" for example dealing damage received back to the giver.

    Iv not thought this out alot yet but input and thoughts would be appreciated!
