I'm not going to spoil my first run by reading a guide. I'm not going to skip cut-scenes and watch them in the inn later just so I don't waste your precious time. I'm not going to research my role, or bother to check what is considered a decent ilvl for each piece of content. I'm going to jump right in when the game allows me to and see for myself. I'm going to learn as I go and you're going to have to put up with it. I'll probably want to explore the whole dungeon including the "pointless" area's and you'll have to deal with that too. I don't like using "advanced" methods to clear the dungeon more easily or quickly, because I feel they are often cheap ways to win and don't give the real intended experience (at least for my first run through). I may stop now and then to appreciate the scenery after fights. If my friend is with me or other players will be interested I'll stop to chat and have a laugh, and we'll find it funny when we die. Oh and I may even stop to grab a drink, if the mug runneth dry! You'll have to suck it up and deal with it because I don't care what you want, I'm playing for what I want.
However, while I feel your pain sincerely, what I want from the game is a completely different thing to you. Explain to me why you're more important?
So here's the thing... I completely agree in that this is a fair and reasonable stance for one to take. Hell this is how I feel when experiencing new content for the first time. However this is what you do with a group of your friends or with a party you put together that has the understanding that you will be taking a leisurely stroll through this dungeon and want to take it all in - not blast through to cap tomes.

It's not really fair to be entering a dungeon via the duty finder with these intentions in mind. There are many that will be interested in taking this approach, and it should be up to you to take the time out of your day to find those people and form a group. Unknowingly subjecting others to this takes away from their time and their gaming experience and detracts from what they want from the game. That wouldn't really be fair now would it? Because afterall, why are you more important?

Check back and the next part of the post is:

When I use duty finder (barely ever because I am stubbourn in how I like to play) I will accept that I need to hurry it up, skip content and at least try to use the proven strategy as advised by other players.
So what I'm trying to say is that I certainly don't act like that in the duty finder, though if I was selfish I would just play like I wanted to like that. The point I was trying to make was to show some people how selfish they sound to me when they expect me to have researched every part of a fight, not make the same mistakes more than twice (i mean I'm trying my best OK), and to simply presume that it's a speed run or no cutscenes run. I compromise for the group in duty finder and I use party finder or FC or friends to play just how I like. I think most players on the duty finder are expecting fast runs and not compromising for the slower or new players at all (especially at endgame), and because they are bullies about it it has become the norm because everyone will conform to not get told off by the bully. I want players to compromise on the duty finder with me because neither is more important. If you can't compromise don't use the duty finder (like I myself have done so I can enjoy slow runs with other that want to). It's hard to get a party together that want the same as you (especially if you want to slow down and explore), but that's what I do, and not act like I did in that first paragraph.

It's cool, I assumed by your opening ("I'm a bad player!") that you we being sarcastic. I didn't really think you played with that much of a self entitled attitude. I got the point you were trying to make, I just felt it was good opportunity to use that to make another point about people from both camps respecting each others play styles.
