I was recently invited to a linkshell (I'll check the name when I get back into game) which seems to have a really strong community of social players. Doesn't really suit me since I only play for 3 hours a week but it could be what you're looking for; I'll post the name shortly in edit.

Hey, I checked up with the linkshell but it doesn't seem like they're recruiting. Guess I just got a lucky invite. If you'd like however send me a tell @Mouldy Vegetablos in game and I could add you to a linkshell of mine. It's more catered towards endgame content but everyone there is friendly and talkative when they want to be
