As has previously said, not everyone wants to spend $200K on each slot. So the current gear won't be pointless, because it'll be easier to obtain than the gil to buy crafted gear is.There is the possibly that they may not even make it sellable. I honestly find it rather hard to believe that they would allow ilv 90 to be tradable/sellable. Because that would just render all ilv 50-85 gear absolutely pointless.
And sooner or later, myth mats will become as low as philo mats.
Myth/Allagan will be the "new Darklight" in 2.2.... So in what way is ilvl90 crafted gear different from ilvl70 crafted gear right now ? CT wasn't there at release, just like the stepping stone for Turn 6-9 won't be here until 2.3 (CT 2.0)There is the possibly that they may not even make it sellable. ilvl70 gear right now is actually a lot better than Darklight too, and crafted ilvl90 gear will probably be better than Myth/Allagan.... Don't see how that's so bad.
If you have a fortune lying around, then by all means... Buy fully crafted ilvl90 gear. I will maybe get a piece, but no way I will spend all that money on gear which isn't needed for progressing.
Crafted gear Vs Myth/Allagan will be a marginal difference at best and if anyone is smart they will wait for prices to go down before they invest in the crafted gear.
BiS is not even important now bro, all i90, acc cap, done

You know that if they put accuracy requirement for T6 at 500+, all your BiS will become totally useless, forcing you to max accuracy at all cost to be efficient at least, useful at max ?
i90 BiS will be as useful in 2.2 as it is now.
Which is not at all.
