Thread: So I'm back and nothing has changed but rdy for 2.2

Looking forward to nothing personally. My sub is up this month and doubt I will resub, I have not even been playing more than 10-30 min lately because I'm so bored with the same tedious chores and dungeon grinds for tomes and gear just to try and keep up with everyone else.

Why do you "have" to keep up with everyone else? Just play at your own pace. If you do go, then I hope you find a MMO to suit your gaming needs.

I keep at my own pace and when I do Extreme Primals I do just fine *gear wise* ( my only problem is getting down the mechanics and I have i80 gear. Also, it doesn't take me long to find a party. Most fights are mechanic driven (Memorize the pattern), meaning once you know the mechanics and have decent gear (not the best) you can do it. You can have the best gear in the game, but if you can't get the mechanics down, you'll lose every time.

I do keep at my own pace mostly but even that is boring. Like I said it's mostly doing the same things day after day week after week. I doubt I'll look for another MMO as this was only my second one the first being FFXI, and I left that after 6 years because I finally got bored. Difference with XI and staying longer is open world content to keep busy also much bigger zones to explore. FFXIV while it has some nice content just doesn't have enough and the new content so far is mostly recycled instances with the word hard or extreme attached to them with maybe a couple extra moves or mobs in them. The people that are still finding enjoyment in the game, I'm happy for them, but I'm just not enjoying it anymore.

This might actually be good for the people who are "bored". Leave for a few weeks then come back. Instead of riding the swell, ride the wake (no pun intended) and content will take longer to clear, and you will either get frustrated and leave or stick around and "catch up". Also, do people still need EX clears? I mean, 2.2 and bigger/better things are coming. If you haven't already gotten EX weapons for all your jobs, then you really don't need to xD
