    [dev1072] [dev1008] LEAP OF FAITH

To the community, I'm not a freeloader. I bought $50 worth of crysta before I knew I didn't need it. I played XI on Carbuncle & have no interest in other MMORPGs. I will */huh* if my expectations aren't met, but I'll get over it. The following is a [suggestion] for Jump & Physical Level Abolition. How are these two connected? Sit back, I'll try to make it short.

    LEAP OF FAITH

Physical Level will be missed, ONLY because it is a universal benchmark of experience. All other known changes coinciding with the upcoming abolition are sound to me. However, with the recent hint/confirmation of JUMPING I must pass this on.

This may shock you, but I believe Physical Level should be a full fledged CLASS! Not just ANY class but THE class. The one everyone uses.

Level 1 physical ability = JUMP OF COURSE

Unlike every other class specific primary skill, this is universal across the board & usable by all disciples/jobs. From there, well... the sky is the limit

Change 'Physical Level' to 'Martial Art' & we're in business!

Instead of just another MMORPG with just another senseless jump function, this gives the game something very special. Innovation! Think of it as an entirely new way to play. It isn't a battle skill, its not a crafting skill, its closest to gathering but still isn't that either... IT breaks the ice for newcomers & becomes the gift that keeps on giving.

    You know it'd be awesome!

Other Martial Abilities could include: Hide, sneak, tumble, climb, sprint, flip, MEDITATE, swim, balance, hold-breath, strength, hand, gentle push, tackle, grab [Think: Assassin's Creed] and so on. Perhaps all free actions... The kicker is all can come at a leisurely development pace. AS a class its a sort of "fun bin" for any and every interaction you could possibly imagine (doesn't really have a huge impact on strategy). A tool to provide a way for developers to add, to an extent, whatever they feel like. You could call it pen & paper RPG appeasement, but that would be an understatement.

To summarize: MARTIAL ARTS FOR ALL!

Thanks & thumbs up if you like.
