    Dueling would be incredibly unbalanced. Warriors and scholars would be the kings of duels and white mages would swift cast / fluid aura / sure cast sleep you every time there is a risk of death. I think it would be fun, but utterly pointless

    If SE introduced duelling people would have an easier time parsing pvp and establishing more accurate values for certain stats. SE likes to keep things like that hidden to a degree
