Thread: 2.2 killed my static

my FC is very excited for 2.2 and we even do speed trials on EX Primals to remain competitive so that we can be ready to world first 2.2 stuff.

This happens in every mmo ever made. People take a week or 2 break before a major patch then go on for longer periods afterwords. If you're concerned about missing a week of coil just find another PUG, most everything can be won PUG now.

Same here , but it not 2.2 that made this , it just boredooooom , @ 2.2 pop you def will notice ppl's back ( unless they deleted their chars lol )

However, to answer it in your terms: no, it isn't 'worth it' given that you seem to only run this for the phat lewt so take a week off and do something more useful?

When 2.2 hits it'll be fun for a while till groups claim world first on every content that is newly released. After that rush, it'll become server 1st then after those achievements are written in stone people will be like "meh" i'm only going to clear it to get gear, entitlement, and satisfaction of how little there is left to do in this patch.
After all the hype ppl will then proceed to post speed run kills and eventually it'll become the long wait till next patch.
So yes 2.2 will kill your static if you are behind as ppl will just go do turn 5 and clear it and think oh geez my static sucks i should join a new one.
It's how you play the game rather than its how the game plays you.

Pre 2.2, our free company is alive, we have 4 statics group doing coil and more members are join us.

Try do something different to keep players on.
