Aegis Boon stops 'em in their tracks?

Is i just me or has anyone else noticed that when you activate Aegis Boon everything just stops attacking you (more noticeable when soloing obviously).

It seems enemies that would attack you 4 times in the 10 second period will only attack once when you activate AB, if at all.

Anyone know reason/answer/solution to this.

Not that it's a breaker as sometimes its a nice break to heal/buff-up.

They don't stop attacking you. It's just that for some reason, only the attack animation stops.

Aaaaaah I see Renta! Thanks for the quick response. I had wondered why I recovered health but tbh I barely pay attention to the numbers all over the screen!!

Yeah, if you check the chat log, they're still attacking you. Also, when you see the recovered HP pop up, that means they attacked you even though the animation didn't occur, since you can use Phalanx.

Now I feel slightly foolish sitting hovering over Phalanx waiting to see them swing for me!

Man I'm not looking forward to that action getting nerfed.

I dunno, but it's been this way since beta. I'd assume they are aware of it.
