More like a failed hardcore the type whos well I cant be on the pedestal with you all so everyone GET DOWN NOW type. Should we limit all entertainment with this mindset ? New parents cant watch a full movie so 10min segments of every movie will be released each week spanning a few months. Dont like it ? Maybe you can supliment it witha book too bad only 1 chapter gets released a week cant have those speed readers getting ahead. But no worries you can play a single player game... nope 2hr lockout on content, after those 2hrs are up you need to wait till next month for the DLC to come out with the next bit. If everyone is restricted to the lowest common denominator we would all be sitting in diapers watching sesame street well into our 30's cant have anyone getting ahead afterall. I am what I deem a true casual... someone who plays this game to play it (even though even I ran out of things to do) I dont care about prgression or challenging the biggest stuff... my friend is hardcore she challenges everything the game can offer, we both come to the same agreement though neither of us want the failed hardcore players (the ones who want to progress but cant for one reason or another so they come to the casual camp and spread their litter and whine and moan to us while we want nothing to do with them) to be associated with our group.

    And your rebuttal is just as useless then. They may not be asking specifically for 0.5% drop rates, but if you want to remove lockouts and loot lockouts, the time sink has to go somewhere. You gotta be careful about troll posts but when you do decide to say something, try to look at the bigger picture. I would rather take lockouts over even a 1% chance drop rate. Although I do wish my DRG was in coil during those days when it was all DRG loot lmao.

    So what do you consider a raid? 40 people +? Is there a difference from a ten man raid to a 40? Regardless, coil is a raid, ct is a raid, and whatever comes next can be called a raid....

    I feel bad for the people who liked the op without reading it. As much as I understand people not being jazzed about the similar post that came first.

    The op paints such a comical bad depiction of the opposing argument.

    If you really want to talk about why you think the game is going in the right direction as it currently is...There are much better roll models to like the post of.

    Most of those that want RNG hell on drops are 1.0 players that enjoyed trying to meld a relic 162 times before getting it. That game was bad, it was killed for good reason. I'm not saying this game with the ease of gear is perfect, I leveled an alt to 50 from 0 in 6 days and had it i82 just a little silly IMO, but in general the game is fun, rewarding and frankly is what you make it.

    To the 1.0 players, stop trying to make this game the RNG Hell that was 1.0. No one wants Hamlets to return, or breaks on melds, or any of the other things that made that game horrible.

    It's beyond me why are people who want to do something else besides dungeons considered "elitist" or "hardcore". If you like grinding same dungeon all over again for no end, fine, I have no problem with it, but I can't figure out why people have problem with us who want open world content. It's supposed to be an MMO, not a lobby game, after all.

    No one is forcing you to do it if you do not want it. You can rot in your inn room and use Duty finder 0/24 for all I care. Just give me some diversity.

    And there are people who don't like seeing things get handed out to people who are one step up from a drool cup. Also we are still at the beck and call of the ole RNG in this game concerning coil. There are groups like mine that have been farming the place for months yet haven't seen certain drops while we're gearing up our MNK and DRG alts, even folks that haven't even unlocked the advanced classes, but that's the nature of the beast and we've come to accept it.

    On the topic of 1.XX, that version failed due to several factors, with the most obvious one being the goddamn thing was rushed. I'm sure most, if not all Legacy would agree that the game had issues then, but the company was making advancements on fixing it and were looking forward to what the game was going to be like once the servers were brought back, not the dare i say this... 'WoWification that the game has become in such an obvious cash grab.

    Are you trying to tell me to look at the bigger picture when you can't even read my post?

    Just read my first and second post, i just want options to develop my character in open world, in other words, non instanced endgame, i never mentioned the lockouts, even if i don't like them i know why are they in the game.

    I just answered to OP's post because i can't believe there's someone asking to not introduce open world content just because she likes instances and hates NMs with fictitious drop rates.
