/10char pretty much sums it upthe class doesnt play in a way that needs to spam a basic attack to do its job, or do good damage past 20. (multishot)
And giving anyone ranged attacks without stopping will only unbalance ranged attacks more in a game where you can have the same run speed as monsters, which will only get more exploitable if they remove ranged attacks from all monsters, and increase mob deagro range which they said they will. In fact becoming SUPER exploitable if you didnt even have to press a button to kite cheese. just run away till the monster dies, and win.
BTW mages stop twice when they cast. and they will also stop when they use ranged darts
melee dont need to stop while doing basic attacks (even though they do stop) because they can do damage without being in range of attacks and AOE.
even if they chose to make archer AA, it would probably only make the job less unique, less damage, and less entertaining
