    LF3M to Fill Out Static or LFG

    As is the inevitable path of things, my group of four people has reached the point where we need more people to properly move into Patch 2.2.

    So: What do we have?
    • A Ventrilo server for communications purposes, perfect for our needs.
    • Elena Orlovsky, ilvl 80 PLD, ilvl 77 BRD
    • Krystianna Heartyre, ilvl 80 WHM, ilvl 74 SCH, ilvl 72 SMN/BLM
    • Tahotai Mechka, ilvl 83 PLD, ilvl 75 WHM
    • Miak Miakka, ilvl 80 BLM
    • Tuesday-Thursday from 7PM-10PM EST raiding

    So: what are we looking for? Well, some of that is open to change... but in general.
    • One healer, ideally a Scholar.
    • One Melee DPS
    • One magic DPS

    This does not rule out tanks - it is possible that either Tahotai or I can switch roles as necessary. However, this is what would make us minimize needing to go down in item level.

    We are still looking. I haven't had a chance to check in-game messages left to me due to travel, but it is likely that we'll have room for you when we run Coil for the week starting on Tuesday evening at the times advertised above. That should make an excellent trial run, I imagine, so just don't get saved to any Coil for the week before then!

    We currently use Ventrilo, so I'd advise on getting that basically set-up for communications purposes in the meantime.

    Time for a bump and an update regarding current plans!

    1. Our static, once formed, will focus on gearing people up to ilvl 90 in order to quickly progress through future content. In the first week after patch, this will be done by grouping up during our normal raiding times, and grinding the existing Coil turns like madmen. This will accomplish two things. It will gain us both valuable Allagan as well as Myth.

    2. After getting people up to i90, we hope to finish off Turn 5 in the next week, prior to the Echo buff coming to Coil. This is more for the sake of pride than anything else - we believe that the matter of the Extreme Primals is more not having to teach people the fight every time, whereas Turn 5 is legitimately challenging.

    3. With Coil Turn 5 defeated, we will look into happily stomping around the Second Coil of Bahumut as well as Ex Leviathan / Ex Moogle Mog. Huzzah!
