Greetings. Leviathan is a sea dragon (I think so) and I wonder- how monks or dragoons can attack it from behind or from the flank? How can Leviathan has flank side or backside? Has anyone ideas how did developers make this battle?

Ya yoshi said that he made this battle specifically so dragoons and monks couldn't fight it. He said he hopes that everyone kicks drg/mnk from their fight as soon as the battle starts. He said that hes deleting them from the game in 2.3
I tried to look at my crystal ball to tell you. It errored out and I got a 404 message.
In all seriousness though noone knows how the fight may go. Just wait and see!![]()
In an interview (can't recall where now) Yoshida mentioned making sure that it'll be attackable from the sides/back.
My call is that they'll make his head the only targettable part, and so the "target ring" will be inside the arena, with its rear being under his "neck".
That makes the most sense... I can't imagine it working any other way
Yes, I think in the same way
Don't they already have ways around this? I could have sworn Demon Wall works such that all attacks against it will always receive the bonus as if you were attacking from a flank/behind, since there's no way to flank it or get behind it. Then again, I don't play my Monk much.
It would be simply be like Conflagration.
A really big hit box in front(think of a cube in front of Levi), though, im not exactly sure how the rear is going to work, maybe in a corner at the back?
Goodbye, Final Fantasy...
You can't rear attack Demon Wall (only the front of the hit box is on the player side of the wall) but you can flank it. From the videos Id assume what had already been said that Levi's whole hit box will be his head which hangs over the battlefield. You probably have to attack the tail at some point as well.
