We are looking for one WHM for our primary raid group on Gilgamesh. Hardcore, progression oriented FC looking to push content with 2.2, going for server first's, skilled, dependable group of raiders. Currently have all content on farm.

Our raid times will be: Tue 7-9pm PST, Thu 6-9pm PST, Fri 6pm PST - everyone calls it.

Pt 1.

Hey there.

I've been looking for a like minded FC to join while I've been leveling and you seem to be in the same boat as I when it comes to raiding. A little background on me; I have been playing MMOs for about 8 years, I've played most that are available and have invested the majority of my time in Star Wars The Old Republic, Rift, and of course World of Warcraft.

I was competitive in WoW during Wrath ( Naxx - Ulduar ),doing things like Sarth 3D, the Naxx achievements, and we were all competing for the server first kill of Yogg. Quite an exciting feeling knowing that the 3 top guilds were in there fighting the same boss and being in one of them. When that guild fell apart afterwards I played casually up until about Cataclysm. I got into a semi-hardcore guild during the start of Cataclysm and we were in the top 10 or so but were more oriented towards having a good time, though that group had some severe problems in terms of personnel that held us back.

Pt 2.

Ended up quitting when the nerfs showed up for the first tier of raids; downing 3 progression bosses a day after the nerfs killed all feelings of accomplishment for me.

Fast forward a few years, and a bunch of MMOs to fill the gap, and I got in on Star Wars The Old Republic. After 2 friends and I got to the level cap I started what was supposed to be a temporary guild. I recruited a few people for some light introductory, let's-learn-the-mechanics, raiding and acquired a taste for guild leading. I started taking it a bit more seriously and refined the group into, not just a skilled group of players but a great group of friends. We ended up being one of the top progression guilds in the world and I don't think anything will ever trump the fond memories I obtained there.

Pt 3.

Anywho, enough living in the past, I see you want a White Mage. I'm more than willing to fulfill that role, though I'm only about level 30. I would be 50 but I've been leveling the trinity all side by side so that I'd have more options and worth to whichever FC I join. Mechanics won't be a problem, just gearing up. I can't speak for the sort of release window that 2.2 is attempting to land but if time isn't an issue to you then you'd be making a great long term investment on a loyal player that has been around the block. If you want someone more versed in the immediate game's META, I will of course understand.
