    Sure, and crafted stuff comes from....?

    While not stated, it can be easily assumed to be mythology.

    Lets assume they run the same way ilvl70 crafted gear works.

    Meaning that each piece will require at the minimum 9 ToM items. Meaning 1125 mythologies for one piece, compared to 825, 495 or 375.

    I really doubt more than 5% of the playerbase will have more than 3 jobs ilvl90ed out, and that's being generous.

    Where do you have the info that the new crafted gears would be ilevel 90? They can also be ilevel 80 or 85

    ARR is on rails. enjoy the ride or jump off. i cant see people wanting all these changes to be satisfied with 2.xx or even 3.xx (since they are probably nearly finished with that as we speak)
    look at the simple changes people want implemented that the devs respond to.. its always 6+ months for the release from the announcement. keep up the good fight by speaking your mind but i wouldnt hold my breath.

    No 'change of direction' will happen at least until an expansion. It simply is not possible to just up and whole sale change a game not even a year after release.

    Even more unheard of is changing a game completely and utterly and not crashing and burning. Twice.

    Myself and most of my fc agree with u OP. my fc has mostly been together since 1.0 we see the game become awesome at 1.21 with alot of stuff to do and it felt like there was always something to do to better yourself in game with triple melds/dl farming and collecting all relics. The start of 2.0 was awesome at first but once coil was done the game became too boring. 2.1 ex primals were too easy and the game is just log in Monday see the same shit coil accessories drop and that's it for the week.

    2.2 will likely be the same once coil 6-9 is on farm just log in once a week and see the same shitty accessories drop, or if you are lucky see a piece of gear with str+6 crit+10 acc+10 the same boring stats.

    This game seriously needs some horizontal progression or alot of people are going to get bored/fed up. I really used to love this game but now it's just hard to find anything to do, even pvp is starting to die off

    The base design of this game is great and definitely have so much potential to build on or otherwise most people, including me, would have quit months ago. In term of the design prospects based on the past 6 months, the future content looks so-so at best.

    However, we need to take into considering every little thing that adds up aside from the big name raids like CT, Coils and Primals as well. I'll give them credit for coming up with so many new game changing systems every big patch such as housing, treasure hunting and soon gardening and retainer venture.

    Although a little bit unrefined, those "sidegames" are great for replayability and community interaction that isn't too combat heavy. Yoshida's team just need to keep expanding on these systems while adding new OPEN WORLD CHALLENGING GROUP CONTENT and all will be smooth as butter. I don't have as much faith as I had at the 2.0 re-launch so I'm hoping that 2.2 will add more life to the game and show me if Yoshi's MMO concept is sustainable.

    Until the masses start agreeing with your opinion, then nothing will change considering the game is still a success with 500k+ subs after 6 months.

    Things can stay mostly the same, BUT I do hope for more Open World content. ( I can't wait for Frontlines).

    PS: I like Beastman Quests ( I just wish it wasn't dailies, but I work with it for now as I am sure the Dailies will be lifted at some point).

    I wonder how much of those subs are gil sellers. All my lses seem empty. Long list of players, but not many on. Everyone at end game just spends their time afking in Mor Dhona. I think part of FFXIVs success is there hasn't been any real competition.
