Option to change character's appearance in game (Cosmetic makeover shops)

Something I thought of that I'd really like to get the community's feedback on is perhaps to have a barber shop or something of that matter implemented in the game. This way characters could give new looks to themselves whenever they wanted to and SE could add NEW hairstyles and looks to the game's people without characters already made feeling left out.

I mean, haven't you ever seem someone else's character and wanted to look like them =/ or just wish you'd chosen another look to your character? Perhaps not everyone goes through this phase but it would be nice since I'm aware that other MMOs have this dandy feature.

In terms of payment, it would hopefully not be a real monetary fee but instead just a modest amount of gil needed to be paid .

Lemme know what you guys think and hopefully we can get a response from the development team about this idea ^^! Thanks for the input!

I'm not really for or against this idea, in principle. However, I would be fairly agitated to find out the development team spent any time on a game feature like this while the rest of the game is in shambles. There are a myriad of small features, like this, that could potentially add interest or immersion to the game. But I think they need to take a back seat for a long, long while.

Conversely, you could just spend an unhealthy amount of time in the character creation mode like I do.

I'm pretty sure they mentioned adding in a barbershop and more hairstyles at some point, although they're probably in the backburner right now.. I probably won't use it as much since I feel that spending enough time coming up with my character's appearance adds more of a connection to said character, but in the spirit of options, why not add it I guess.

Hmm, I do get that feeling every now and then for wanting to change more than the simple appearances for my character.

Right now though, I'd like to see a dev reply to reassure us that the team is still thinking about our hair stylist shop.
