    Anyone else having Free Company points trouble?

    I'm not really sure what I can do better. I've organized Treasure Hunts, we all do dungeons regularly, we all cap every week, do CT, do Coil, everything. In the end, we can't keep up with point consumption. We're going negative here. Even dropping down to 1 level 1 buff a day.

    The problem stems from this being a fairly new FC, but even with 15-30 active people(90 member count, it swings), we're mostly all level capped. So there's no quests to do, and FATE grinding has came to a near-halt so there's no large income from there either.

    I think it really only effects FCs made post-fate-grind and with everyone who's in here already having 50s. I mean we pulled together, have a medium house, have coil statics, we are on and active, it's not enough.

    Has a dev or anything commented on FC points and their accrual and perhaps increase? I feel like if we get increased points from Dungeons, Primals, and Coil run commensurate with the number of 50s in FCs now, it'll really help a lot.

    I wouldn't say it's post fate grind be cuz my FC of 23 has been around since beta end, and we are rank 8, but we are having the same trouble, something feels different about the amounts gained verse used I don't remember such drastic fall in points and we've also switched back to using 1 lvl ability to save points but hasn't seem to help. So not sure....

    Well I think the main point incomes were from FATE grinding but more than that, quests. Quests have more or less dried up because we all have 50s or multiple 50s and no more quests to do aside from dailies. So even if you level another job, you're not getting that sweet sweet quest point income. I've leveled a whole other character but the benefits aren't great enough to merit it and it just really shouldn't be this difficult to accrue points haha. I feel like the system really needs a little boost.

    They said that they were investigating new ways to accrue points, but did not give an ETA. We're in the same boat as you all, so I understand your pain. Hang in there!

    The daily quests do add quite a bit of points, so don't discount those. even if you're level and rep capped, it helps a lot.

    We have over 100 members and we're in the same boat, finally starting to run low. Several players gather and craft all the time but without the fate grind, it's not enough. Seriously hoping they add new ways to accumulate points or weight things like dungeon runs and crafting/gathering a bit higher.

    Nope, last time I check it's a 1:1 ratio for crafting, and same goes for Gathering, 1 node : 1 credit.

    My FC has been having problems for at least a month now keeping our points up.

    However, I do believe that Yoshi-P did state somewhere that they were going to fix this in 2.2 and allow points to be gained through endgame content. (Too lazy to find it.)

    My FC is also facing this issue. We're typically about 10-15/47 active most of the time except the extreme off hours.

    As soon as we hit rank 8 with the ability to use two second-tier bonuses at the same time we saw that our points were being spent far faster than they were coming in. We attempted to focus our efforts to make sure we didn't run out. For example, we had a ongoing party that we referred to as a 'crafting party' in which every single member who was crafting or gathering or doing something that could be solo'd while in a party would party up to earn points. We would also try to do every CT and primal and dungeon with as many FC members as possible, etc. Even with all that, the best we could manage was barely break even with almost all of our effort put towards it. In short, it was not anywhere close to being a stable solution. When the higher FC ranks came out we had almost 500,000 points saved up, but now we have 138,071. It won't be much longer until we're literally out.

    I feel that the gains were balanced decently well, if slightly on the generous side, for the first 5 ranks we had. The addition of buying twice the bonuses at a higher cost per bonus wasn't mitigated by increasing point gains or giving additional ways to earn points, however.
