Uh, so many people jumping to conclusions. Read the description on official site, here it is:

"Aetheryte Ticket
Players in possession of an aetheryte ticket when using Teleport will not incur a gil fee.
This item will be consumed upon use."


It permanently removes all gil fees from teleports. That's a damn good reward, I'll go for it right away.

But as for 7th rank rewards, ugh so is that something which resembles CT's tank gear? I never liked it, but oh well. The barding isn't that bad, but they should have thrown another fantasia.

It says that those in possession of the ticket get the free teleport. If its removed on use, they don't have it anymore. Not in your possession, no free teleport.

Even still, letting some people teleport for free forever just because they're subscribed longer puts them at a pretty heavy advantage. Maybe once in a while or something, but forever is too much. Then again once is just pointless.

It should have been something aesthetic. The gesture is nice, but once you start giving away things that matter for the game, you start running into issues like this.
