I hate the woods, but regardless of that, I'll stay there for the sake of my journal.
Talking about Meo though..well, she's usually in Limsa, because I like it best.
It's only possible because I'm very anima efficient, so I can go to Uldah for shopping.
Simple answer was bad direction in main storyline quests. You started in LL? You started in Grid? You started in ULDAH?! in doesn't matter, the quest after 20 go to Uldah anyway, welcome to sucklandia. Lol sorry, i just think it was a bad move.
I also love the Black Shroud, so i can't wait till they adjust the Guildleve distribution as mentioned in the Guildleve Reform post on Lodestone. (http://lodestone.finalfantasyxiv.com...f6eee0cc916430)to be really honest with you , i ll be like a grumpy old man if ppl starting to pop up in Gridania :P
lol
i never mind that grid is underpopulated i can still sell my stuff there and i ve been there since CE so ...
as i said im a woods person.

Credit goes to Niqo'te for her fabulous art in the "Nique's happy fun time!"-thread and Nix/Capa for the Caitlyn drawing to the right. \(^_^ )/
Give her your support by liking their art!
Not unless you were weird enough to roll Besaid.to be really honest with you , i ll be like a grumpy old man if ppl starting to pop up in Gridania :P

Uldah has a nice bar... yep... I said it... damn Lalafel always standing by the Mi'qote on the table...
Anyways... jokes aside... like others said Ul'dah is most convenient right now since it' in the middle of the 3 countries. Gridania is nice looking but the Black Shroud just killed it. With airship in 1.19 and maybe like warp NPC within the city to teleport from edge of map to the other side like Windurst in FFXI would fix some problems why people don't want to be in other countries. But as game evolves like FFXI Jeuno or White Gate people will migrate to more convenient areas most likely.
I like Ul'dah. But then I liked Bastok in FFXI too, and I think Ul'dah and the surrounding terrain both look worlds better than Bastok did. Since I don't really enjoy doing guild leves I've sort of just been bumming around until some of the combat reform gets implemented... And Ul'dah is just the place I find most aesthetically pleasing.
I tried all 3 cities during the open beta and Ul'duh seemed to A) be the easiest to navigate and B) not do unspeakable things as terribly to my then under-powered GPU.
Personally, after all these months playing I much rather prefer the landscape surrounding Limsa but, Ul'duh will always be home.
Can We Get a toggle for that toggle?
