-While the idea of dungeons that you can solo sounds cool, I don't think open work dungeons would work. How would you prevent people from just running through the whole dungeon? You couldn't just leave boss monsters there, they'd have to be FATE-based, which would be very boring to wait for them to spawn. Plus, how would treasure chests work? And how would an open world dungeon be any different from places like beast-tribe territories like Zanr'ak or the Sylphlands or places like The Burning Wall?
-A war zone just wouldn't make sense with the lore in this game. We're all on the same side and there doesn't really seem to be any rivalries or land disputes going on between the city-states.
-That would mean reworking the entire system. Plus, if you're thinking about making it exactly like X's grid system, then it would be way to broken. They system they have now was designed so that specific classes/jobs and specific roles.
