My Game Pad Controls are not responding properly

I Have recently switched from PS3 to PC and while using my Razer Sabertooth XBox 360 Controller some times the controls do not respond, or they stick. This is the only game this happens in Please help.

I have already calibrated my controller multiple times in windows as well as in game. I have uninstalled/reinstalled drivers too many times to count. Also I have started to rotate my analog stick 360 deg before entering game nothing seems to work.

My snakebyte (PS3 knock-off) acts up sometimes like that. In my case, it's an issue with my laptop's USB 3.0 ports... either hardware or software related. The only one it doesn't misbehave on is the one I can dedicate to providing power even when the system goes into standby (the rapid-charge port has BIOS control to keep it powered up). As a work-around for the other ports, I disabled the power saving options for all USB devices/ports in Device Manager and the problem went away... until I rebooted or resumed from hibernation, which reset the power-save settings on the ports themselves.

I noticed that if I just unplug and replug the controller though, it clears up. May be worth a shot.
