I am guessing you die to Landslides, Weight of the Land and Bombs on Titan Extreme eh?

Seems like a silly reason to quit a game you love. Gil isn't even that important in this game. FYI, you'll lose your gil when you quit too...

I know the cap sucks, but must be a countermeaure against illegally smuggling gil across servers for gil selling purposes, and because it would further upset the in game economy if a bunch of people transferred over with countless gil in tow. Like most people said if you don't have an insane amount of gil why don't you transfer it over to high end goods? I can see people turning a mil or two of gil into items in one go. Anywho concerning in game ppl being asshats, ya there eveywhere. Have you really exhausted all you're FC's in the server? Look around you'd be surprised how many diamonds in the rough are around!
Good idea! It are only take him, per million gil:
400 gold coins
2000 silver coins
10000 bronze coins
or 40000 tin coins.
I guess that are work if he are no want for ever be able to move, as it would take YEARS to buy that many coins.

Buy up some T3-4 materia and bring it with you. I guarantee that stuff is going up in price when 2.2 hits, since there will no doubt be i90 crafted gear.

Buy dark matter 5 for 80 gil (127 item slots for 1m) and sell them again for 80 or 75 gil on the new server. Buy also other stuff you think that sell good.
Or make a second character on your server and give him the gil you can't take with you. This way you would still have your gil somehow.

A toxic environment? Wherever you go people can be jerks. It's just people in general. There are some people on my server that don't like me. I don't think they are out to get me though. Why would they care so much about me? Sure for a while, after whatever I did they didn't like, they might have spent some time making things difficult for me. People move on though. After I forgot about them, they soon forgot about me.
In fact, one such person messaged me recently, asking me to do something. I couldn't remember who they were and turned them down, only because I thought they were some random person and I was about to log off. I later realized they were someone who told me they were my "enemy" and were out to get me. Had I remembered, I probably would have accepted their offer so i could try to befriend them again. But people's memories are short. So are those memories of the people that you might think are toxic.
So I guess what I'm saying is, you really don't need to transfer just to escape. There is no greener grass somewhere else.
