i don't understand the hate towards someone that just doesn't want to lose their gil to transfer. the person took their time and earned their gil so they should be able to keep it. this is no different than they said if you transfer you lose all your gear and materials and have to get it all again. the catch would be you could only take one set of low level gear and nothing else.

That's all I did. I actually turned 400k into 1.6Mil. It was nice too because I took the time to clean up my inventory and dumped a lot of the crap I was hoarding.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this yet, but why not buy a bunch of high demand items, and then sell them back on the new server? You might make more cash that way in the first place.

Cant you just take some time before transferring to buy the Gil Tokens people get from quests? They don't count as currency until you vendor them. You could buy a ton of them from players and possibly transfer most of your Gil that way.
