PS3 Release - New Servers - Would you be for it?

So I was just wondering what people's opinions of this are, would you be for a new bunch of servers being added upon PS3 release?
Obviously this isn't to separate PS3 users, more to give a chance of a 'fresh start' to those who want it.

I'd be pretty much completely for it, as someone who hasn't really bothered to invest that much time in the game beyond rank 30, I don't have a huge investment in the game but would prefer to get a fresh start when it's considered to be in a satisfactory state. I'd also prefer to have everyone else in a similar situation, so it's easier to find people to do things with and the markets are not generally based upon the whims of those (sorry) crazy enough to rank everything up to 50 when the game's in such a bad state.

On the other hand, it could be an entire server of male mi'qote and a couple of female roegadyn.

I know it's a long way off, but does anyone have any thoughts on this?

Like I said in this thread where I talk about social and antisocial players.

Also, I think that more servers just aren't needed. It's not a fact though, and when the community will have login problems I'm sure they'll open new servers.

The people here don't want new servers because they will have spent a year's worth of free time selecting standard synthesis in a corner in uldah for the specific purpose of showing off their leet skills to the PS3 noobs. If there is an option to join a new server for new characters only, many of these folks will feel betrayed by SE.

That's generally something I was thinking about too, it seems a lot of people are currently 'investing' with the assumption the game will recover and do really well, with them in a great position to take advantage of the markets and make their skillz known to the server.

It would be nice to have the markets develop anew, with what I assume will be a much better functioning economy with hopefully less of the crazy inflation in place.

We need the new players. After watching so many people quit to never return, our server is reduced to a couple hundred people all in Uldah. Honestly, if the next couple patch/updates fail I will be screaming for server jump option, cause this server will be like a ghost town.

Also, the people like me who don't play right now because they value time, won't have to play with a bunch of dweebs who think they're hot shit because they're a level 50 basket weaver in a game that's probably going to die a slow and painful death anyway.

I love companies who actually think things through before rushing their crap out the door. FFXIV could have been sooo much more successful than it ever will be had they waited an extra year or two.

Take me, I am waiting on new servers on PS3 release to play, with people around my level and fresh markets. It will take this to make me to play again when new linkshell forms with new players are around. Right now, I could log on my lvl 28 physical character, but why? Linkshell I was in reformed, so I get to play alone?
