Hello,
I've been experimenting a bit with macros and all. For instance, I macroed embrace with physick, adloquium, lustrate and leeches. I also put embrace on its own keybind, but I noticed most of the time it didn't work since embrace was already macroed to my main heals. Embrace was already being casted when I tried to use the keybind to heal a second target. So I've come to the conclusion that it'd be either one or the other, not both. What do you guys use and why do you like it that way?

I'm also thinking about putting rouse and whispering dawn together since I don't come across a lot of situations where I only use one or the other.

I was also wondering if Selene's buffs made a big difference in dps because to be honest, I haven't noticed much and that makes me want to use Eos at all times. What do you think?

I have the same things macro'd with Embrace. However, I still have Embrace on it's own button for various reasons. Sometimes, you just need a smaller heal, so you can just cast Embrace vs. the combo version.

Or sometimes, if you wanna heal two people at once, you can heal one with Embrace and then use your Physick on the other party member.

I also use the Rouse/Whispering Dawn combo, never use them separetely. The are on the same exact recast timer, so they work perfectly together.

Embrace is in between other healing spells on my hotbar and I'm using it whenever necessary. I left it this way so the Faerie can heal one target and me another.

Selene's buff is pretty noticeable in my opinion and lets you clear stuff faster, I'm using her for pretty much everything including Twintania and sometimes even Ifrit X.

The choice between the two is pretty much:

• learning content, allowing healers to make mistakes - Eos
• farming content, allowing your DDs to make mistakes - Selene

If you are on a pc you can set your macro up so that embrace is cast out mouse over target then normal target. That way you can have the tank selected cast physick and have your mouse over someone else and have the embrace go there or just make sure you don't have a mouse over and it all goes to the tank. It has a weird feel when you start because embrace has a longer cd than your other spells but once you get used to it, its extremely powerful.

For me, I never ever macro embrace on any of my other heals. I do however use a logitech G13 so I have everything keybinded on it, and embrace is with all my other heals. I treat it like a heal thats off the GCD.

If I want to cast a large heal on someone, after I hit physick, I hit it. If I want to top someone off after I shield, I hit it. DPS needs a spot heal? I hit it on mouseover while I cast on tank. I couldnt have such fine control if I had it tied to all my casts of other heals.

Some scholars dont like to micro manage the fairy to that extent, but I tend to treat the fairy like its abilities are mine....and never let it run around like a chicken with its head cut off - blowing all its cooldowns on the pull.

I tend to favor Eos over Selene just cause of all the theorycrafting I had read about how the haste buffs dont even amount to one extra cast a minute for blm and for melee its negligible. I think the buff to healing output, magic defense and group HoT far outweigh haste that may or may not be a benefit, since I can rest easy that those at least DO make a difference.

i have embrace macroed to all my healing skills, also i have a rouse+WD macro, some times i use fey illumination before this macro and i have fey covenant macroed to succor

I am still a pretty fresh 50 sch, working on my relic as we speak. I use only a few macros, mostly for pet control though. Taking this one from another post i made in the healer forums for you.

really simple, effective macro. Other primary one is for selene silencing, which i was a bit surprised how easily you could use her for silencing. takes a very quick reaction time though, and praying she isnt in the middle of a heal when you need it.

If you wanna heal 2 targets, use the Embrace one first. That way she'll be casting a heal on her own target and won't go to heal yours when you cast Physick or whatever.

Or simply do 3 macro lines:
embrace with <mo>
embrace with <t>
Physick/Adl with <t>.

That way you can hover the mouse over the party list, and eos/selene will heal that person. If your mouse is not over someone else (either character or party list), embrace will hit the same target.
I use that, and it works really good.
