Low FPS in Crowded Areas

FFXIV runs well except in towns for many people. It would be nice to have an option on the PC version to limit the amount of player characters displayed in crowded areas to improve performance.

Try enabling "Disable rendering of objects when not visible. (Occlusion Culling)". I know a few people that had your same problem and doing this helped them a lot, they also said it cause no noticeable degradation to the look of the game.
