Multiple linkshell chat

Since we can equip more than one linkshell at a time.
But the main one been the only one we can chat in despite been able to see other chats from the other ls.

I'd think it would be a great idea if you could also chat in them ls as well with out having to set it as the main one.

I.e

Main linkshell

/l Hello World

Other linkshells

/l1 hello world
/l2 hello world
/l3 hello world

Each person in the different linkshell will be able to communicates which each other rather than just reading the other linkshell.

it's horrible something this simple is not implemented 10 months after release when it should have been in since day 1. it's bad when you get asked a question from one shell while crafting and have to wait til you finish, stand up, change shells, then remember the question, and respond. this is something that should have been a no brainer add.

yep I was also thnking there was easy way to change the chat focus using something like /cm l3 or /cm l7 but didn't have... have to go to the dang menu>linkshell every time

I'm supporting this myself. And I actually wanted to make a post about it yesterday :P But I wasn't sure if there were such posts already. I'd bet.

It would be even nicer to actually see a dev. post on this topic as well. But no "we're looking into it". We know that and you don't have to tell us xD

We just want to know when this is going to be implemented or if not.. why it's not going to be implemented. We can already navigate the LS's via the menu. Wouldn't it be easy to actually macro them? Something like /equip ls 3 or something along that. Dunno if multiple chat strings are that complicated to manage.. but changing LS's via a macro would help a ton. So we don't have to chose them via the menu.

On the other hand that would require that we can activate macros while crafting. Just typing /ls3 "Text" would be more convienent though. I hope this is getting changed in the very near future along with the key binding stuff.

And while we are at it, an option to drop the use of /cm to switch channels.

There should be an option so that a /p "text" switches to the party channel. Same thing for the various ls, /l7 "text" should switch to ls 7.

Is tiring to have to go to Menu > Linkshell > choose LS you want > Select > Cancel until you get out of all Menus

So much time wasted there when you could keep one and use /l2 /l3 for each other you were.

Yes please. It's like endless battle with UI only to chat with 2+ linkshells.
