Original recruitment post follows:
Absolution is rebuilding for 2.2 and beyond, catering to the working Roegadyn. We've refocused as a smaller crew of working men and women, folks with real life commitments who appreciate the harness of a hectic schedule. This isn't a 7-days-a-week, rigidly schedule driven, hardcore raiding crew: we aim for flexibility and camaraderie. But when it gets down to business, our team has beaten everything 2.1 has to offer and we're still looking for more.
We are actively recruiting players with a similar groove. There are three key qualities we're looking for in new members:
1. Patience. We know what it's like to work a full day, provide for the family, cram for finals, and do all of those other things that makes up the 21st century Roegadyn. If you don't live this life yourself, you need to appreciate what it means in terms of commitment and flexibility.
2. Temperance. If the healer momentarily spaces and we wipe to Twintania (again), if it takes the DPS a dozen attempts to get the dodging down (again), if the Tank accidentally blows his cooldown too early (again)… it's not personal, it just happens. Success comes far more readily when folks keep an even keel about it.
3. Ability. We're always learning, there's always ways to improve our games. But we do need folks who have already developed a good comfort with the game, who know how to perform their roles and know where to go to find help.
Our playtimes vary by folks' schedules, but, generally speaking, we are an NA/Eastern Time (GMT -5) crew. We try to coordinate schedules on our forums or after an event, and plan our next event accordingly. If you're looking for a new home, and you think your goals align with ours, stop by our recruitment page and toss out your CV, see if we are a good fit.
And if you're not looking for a new home, but maybe want to hang around and say "Hi!" from time to time, swing by our manor in Mist (Ward 1) and have a drink. Just don't Fire III our furnitureAbsolution
