Even tho we are relatively stupid, we agree that there should be more options or a better system overall.
I suspect it might come in the upcoming UI adjustments (or at least I hope so). Dev feedback would be nice.
I agree, we need more loot distribution methods. The more the better.![]()

I don't understand why the XI system didn't make it in here. There was no reason to re-invent the wheel on this one.
This is a mandatory function of any MMO. I'm sure its going to get implemented but this thread needs more attention to make sure its not one of those "in 2011" things like delivery box was back at launch er.. wait in "2012" now?
more ideas focused towards solo players. So currently when items drop from faction leves, open-world nms, chests ect, they are distributed randomly to whoever is in the party. Now this may not be a huge issue to linkshells who run events (even though it is an extremely sloppy way of going about distribution) but what about pick up groups where there really wont be a semblance of organization or authority?
Do the Devs have plans to change how the distribution of loot in handled in these areas? Why not bring back the /random or /roll features? What about Masterloot or Quartermaster? I don't want to be doing raid battles, have loot drop and only have the person who's loot pool it dropped into be able to see if it's worth a damn and then have to ask them to pass it to another member if need be.
Thank you kindly for any answer they can give.
I know my statement contradicts itself cause you are talking about party drops. However if you normally play in a party then you prob have a LS and you prob party with them in which case they would know what you want. The pick up group is the solo method of finding a party(in most cases).
if any game got end-game contents, it must have some kind of loot system.
**cough ** got d/c after the rare/ex item droped in my bag **cough**
Oh sorry bud, I just got d/c .. where is the item? who got it? oh me? how come? shit I got d/c ...
hahah, I never had such things, but expect anything![]()
Yea a better loot system is a must for end-game/raid, whatever you want to call it, events/dungeons.

I agree with the sentiments posted in this thread regarding overhauling the loot distribution system. I think loot first needs to have color coded text so people can categorize their rarity and epicness, then create a system where the party leader or quartermaster can decide what categories gets distributed how, and how/when stuff is rolled upon, passed on, etc.
The dev. team is looking into the overall lotting system, but since the changes and adjustments to the battle system are a higher priority, it’s going to take a bit of time before they can fully address it.
