It's not bad

Like many in this community, if it isn't ARR, it's a terrible, terrible MMORPG, especially if it happens to be XI and XIV 1.23 and there was absolutely nothing good about it.

They were on long timers (with no global cool down ones to my knowledge, I didn't play 1.XX much at all)

Not really - They were more hindered by TP cost if you weren't good at TP management or had Store TP materia - You also had more focus on combos that weren't just there for boosting potency a bit.
