Memorize the attack rotation and precast on tumults.

Never ever think. "I can get this heal off then dodge weight of the land/Landslide." Just move fast.

I play WHM but I also assume you should Aldoquim on Mountain Buster. (He'll do it after Landslide in final phase.)

100 would be a dream LOL Game tells me between 300 and 500 usually, but rubberbands to over 1k frequently before catching up and killing everyone >_> I'm on the NBN too which is high speed by Aussie standards...

I have a desktop upstairs but can't get the temperatures down up there so try not to do anything too intensive on it. It's kinda old now too so performs no better than the lappy. Laptop's only a few months old and does a decent job with non real time things. I'm going to see if upgrading the internal HDD will help bring the overall computer score up. This is my lappy here. It has better overall stats than my desktop by far with the added bonus that it can be brought down into the airconditioning. Only thing the desktop beats it at is HDD read speed, but I'm going to try a faster drive once I've backed up this one.

I just moved back to the states from Korea and I had a heck of a time doing Titan. I think it took me a month as a SCH of doing 10-30 DF attempts per day so I had those rotations down to memory. Now that I'm in the states, dodging titan HM is almost laughable (though I still will bite it sometimes). As a SCH, the thing that will help you most in titan is memorizing the rotations. I'd even go so far as to put sticky notes on the side of your monitor for each phase so you know what is happening next. After a week, you probably won't look at them as much.

After you have the rotations down to memory, you can start using that knowledge to plan your cures and mitigation tools in advance. In addition to that, know when you need to start moving. If you haven't started moving within half a second of a plume appearing under you, you are going to eat it but survive. If you are near another person, you're probably going to die. Your biggest threat will always be plumes simply because of its size and damage. Everything else is predicable and either dodgable or reasonably mitigateable. Plumes are more unpredictable as to who is going to get targeted, where they are in relation to you, as well as the radius of the plume being just large enough to barely escape its range by the end of the cast.

Ultimately, the best advice I can give you is to have patience. Titan HM is probably one of the more frustrating fights in the game (haven't experienced EX yet). Just go DF for Titan HM frequently until you feel confident in the fight to try PF.

I live in the Middle East and play on PS3, so double trouble as I can't really do much about latency. The tip I will give you is only one: remember the rotation! I'm a healer just like you, and what helped me dodge everything was knowing what each phase entailed and where it was best for me to stand. Ironically enough, I ate a landslide when I stupidly decided to double check the rotation and it said landslide, and I was there sitting in the landslide.. and it was the attempt on which titan was downed lol ._. but really, knowing the rotation will help you predict what comes next, and what kind of healing is expected of you. Good luck!

Get familiar with what comes next, Titan follows a pattern you can preempt nearly all of his moves... and my main peice of advice is /Sprint /Sprint /Sprint!

Quite often people forget that when playing a casting job you can use sprint to your hearts content! As BLM this helped me loads in Titan EX

This! Totally skipped my mind but very true. I use sprint tons when I get the opportunity, especially in fights where I'm lagging/got bad latency.

Everyone had said pretty much what you need, but I personally think you have less to worry about (other than landslide) because you have i70 gear. I had quite a bit of lag when I did Titan HM but my gear was only around i60 and I still managed to stay alive most of the time. You obviously will have to learn the rotation, but that's just memorization and experience. On the occasional getting hit by plumes, at least you will stay alive because of your gear! Good luck

Edit: Oh, one more thing. As a healer, learn to use the "Dash" function as much as you can. Especially if you get the rotation down when plume is happening (for most rotation, it happens after landslide", click dash right after landslide and start moving, even if you "mindlessly" moving away from the group, chances are, you'll dodge plume from the speed you're running.

I\\'ve downed all Ex Primals on my laptop. It set me back a mere $1000 AUD.

There seems to be a misunderstanding in this thread- what us aussies suffer from is latency not system lag.
It was difficult to manage before they implemented the positional update changes- involved a lot of preemptive movement.
Now however you can safely react rather than predict. Still safest to move a second early on Titan EX if you get to it, though- as the smallest spike in your latency there will kill you with the stacked plumes.
