New player

Hi am a pretty new player currently Gld, but have found my server Moogle to be very quiet I was wondering if anyone could give me some help in selecting a server that is friendly to a new guy trying to learn his class and also lively.
I am UK based English speaking, any help would be greatly appreciated.

When logging in, there's a place to select your data center. Each data center handles its own set of worlds. Both Faerie and Cactuar, for instance, are in the Aether Data Center.

You may have to select a different data center. Each data center has different servers/worlds available. You can change data centers on the main menu when starting the game from the patcher owo.

Moogle I believe is on the EU data center. Faerie and Cactuar are on one of the two NA data centers. I'd also recommend Leviathan if you want to take a look at it. We have a nice LS set up to help teach and level new players there. The server also seems to be very well populated, although there are one or two off-times.

Also, to select a different data center, there should be an option after you login. When the game accepts your login and starts up, you should see four choices: Start, data center, configuration, and exit game. Normally, you would select "start" and it gives you your character list and a list of 6 to 8 servers on your data center. You can change the data center by using the second choice, "data center" instead of directly going to "start". Take a look and try it out. Also, if you are worried about latency, all servers are located in Montreal, Canada. Even the EU data center is there, so I shouldn't expect too much change in latency. Feel free to doublecheck and make sure I'm wrong though as I've never been able to properly test that theory myself.
