100 teleport cost from 1.0?
if it become 0 -> you have to pay for teleport or wait for it to raise again

Bleh. This is kinda weaksauce, SE. It ought to be something more like a couple free teleports a day. You use the ticket, teleport menu comes up, pick a spot, boom you're there, ticket's on 12 hour cooldown. Not horribly overpowered, but a nice gil savings over time. Especially compared to 50 free teleports and that's it.
When the reward for using the one time password thing at any time is better then subscribing for a YEAR, you've done something wrong.
It's not that 50 free teleports is a bad reward. It's just a bad 1 year reward. It would be all kinds of amazing as the 1 month reward however, as it's new players who will benefit the most, not old ones.
I need to teleport about 40,000 times before I'd see any benefit from this. Not that I need a benefit (or even a reward in general), but considering that they take up actual inventory space... yeah, just gonna let them sit in the mailbox. Forever.
If you're able to subscribe for one year (which means having already done so for 6 months), getting enough gil for teleports should not be an issue.
All of the other rewards are unique things that you can only get through subscribing. The teleport tickets however have an actual in-game value associated with them. Sure, you can't get the actual tickets in game outside of subscribing, but you can get their equivalent value, which is about 20k. To most people who do their daily quests/dungeons, that's one days work. That's what makes this a slap in the face and not a reward at all. It's insulting.
The tickets are essentially just gil that takes up inventory space.

50 tickes are on the average, the save of about 10k Gil. Well, cannot blame on free stuff, but 500 tickets will be much more apprecied as something you get into the one year sub rewards package.
Where are those old days when you had a suspicious item with no use in a Final Fantasy. Later on you realise it is the Best because after used all or gathered some others of them, you will get ultimate equipment or so...
Dont you remember the Parts to collect for "Ribbon"?
The Thing was: Many players thrown it away because there are just some hints in description but nothing more.
Or the old times when having 99 of a item triggers a special attack (example Phoenix)
OMG I can just see you lot sitting around the Xmas tree opening your presents ..... screaming at your parents ....... WTF I was good all year and I only get ..........................................!!!
I play FFXIV because its a game I enjoy they give us veteran rewards as a bonus for subbing and ANY reward is a bonus. If the veteran rewards were non existant I would still be subbing and playing the game. You guys must be totally bored sitting around for 3 months or so just to see what the next reward will be so you can bitch about it.
I feel sure if any of you guys are adults with young kids of your own you would be wondering what you did wrong if you heard your kids speak about presents you gave them as you are doing here.
I would rather have crystal shards then these minions, tickets and barding. You know? Things I could actually use maybe?
You consume the item and then it will let you choose one aetheryte as a sort of a second 'home point' that you can teleport to for free. If you do not use security token it wont be free and you cannot change it. This was in the interview someone translated. Where is this 50 tickets stuff coming from? Why are people so quick to label "rewards sucks" followed by "what is it actually?" -.-
Anyway, I skimmed through and didn't see anyone actually mention the explanation I read from the interview someone translated here recently. I'll edit soon for link and quotes....
I was wrong it wasn't in the interview. http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodest...4ceda18a4657cf
To further strengthen account security when playing FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn, players are encouraged to log in using a security token or software token.
These security devices generate one-time passwords, which remain effective for only a fixed period of time and become invalid once the user logs in, offering protection against spyware such as key logging programs. Using a one-time password in combination with your Square Enix ID and password will offer greatly strengthened security for your account.
Learn more about how to register your one-time password.

In-Game Bonus for One-Time Password Users
As of patch 2.2, when logged into the game with a one-time password, you will have the option to designate one aetheryte of your choice as a free destination. Teleporting to your free destination will incur no gil fee. Moreover, you may change your free destination as many times as desired.
* The free destination is only valid for Square Enix accounts with a registered one-time password.
* In the event your one-time password has been deactivated, teleporting to your destination will incur a gil fee. Furthermore, your free location cannot be changed while your one-time password is deactivated.
As a quick and easy way to ensure a safe and secure gaming experience, we highly recommend all users take advantage of the one-time password feature.
