I dont consider any of the reward special. I look at them as gift, i pay to play the game and i'm enjoy it so far. The veteran reward are just there, it doesn't and it won't affect me in any way what they are unless is something that affect gameplay. For me there are just some free stuff that I don't expect to get or need it.
Maybe i can make a "petition" for all the people that don't care about the ticket to amass them and give it to the less fortune so that get a 1 year free daily teleport maybe that will calm them down.

It doesn't matter to YOU, but some of us look forward to things like a Behemoth mount or Warrior of Light barding. They have set a standard and that is what we were expecting. We don't want anything amazing or game breaking, we just want what we have been getting all along. Some of us care about showing our commitment to the game, in game. With the complacency some people have in this thread...SE is better off not wasting time and resources on Veteran rewards, and should just give us all 1k gil and 1k GC seals every 90 days.

If you really care about showing your commitment to the game you don't need any of the rewards. Show it with your attitude toward the community, help people around, show off your gear and accomplishment, there are many of way to show your commitment.

I don't need any rewards, and I do show my commitment...I join as healer to random Titan HMs if the person is shouting nicely enough, I answer questions on how to obtain or unlock something, if someone is dieing I will heal them, if someone is dead I will raise them ; however, none of that has anything to do with this specific reward.

It's ironic that most of your post is defending the Vet Rewards to prove you are committed to the game.... and then you end with this sentence.

The game sucks as it is. I want it to get better, so I am still subscribed. I only play about 2 hours a month though, and I would hardly call it playing. They can have my money to make the game better because I WANT this game to succeed, and I'm committed to helping make that happen as much as I can bear. What I don't want is SE to waste time and resources making useless crap like this. I feel like SE is wearing the emperors new clothes and everyone is too blinded by fanboi disease to admit how mediocre the game is at this point.

Hooray, a new pet! Now I can have something else to follow me around during my 500th crystal tower run!
