What I'm reading here are a lot of blanket statements, and some extreme ends on both sides.

It's one thing to acknowledge how someone's opposing opinion that conflict with your own, but it's another to accuse people of being something or another.

I'll just sum up the thoughts for both sides.

A: People subscribe to the game for the game itself, and not the milestone rewards.
B: Both milestone rewards should be appropriately reflect the commemoration of the milestone itself.

A: People who receive the gift should be grateful that there was a gift at all.
B: Gifts with practical use serves a better purpose on earlier commemorations. Such as how fantasia was designed in mind for people coming in from FFXIV 1.0.

A: Saving gil is always useful. You can sell the tickets for gil (assumed)
B: All previous rewards are account bound and untradeable. Tickets most likely will be untradeable as well (assumed)

And the extremes
A: No one gets anything, cry-babies should quit the game.
B: Want more than 50 tickets, want something permanently practical.

And I'll just quote people who seem right of mind speaking for both opinions;
