Going by your logic, any game is pay to win because you need to buy the machine that runs it. Okay.
They do offer a completely free alternative, you can't really blame them for making the game (a bit) pay2win.
The machine required to run this game is a computer or a PS3/4 console and an internet connection. Everything else is supplementary.
But I do see what you mean. The service is free to those that have the means and they provide a relatively cheap alternative to those that do not have those means.
