Aetheryte Ticket - Useless

So basically, what is completely unclear is whether the item is 1 time use (completely pointless) or permanent (omg awesome!).

When it says that the item is consumed on use it doesn't mean that the free teleport is only one time but that the item changes your characters teleport cost to 0 permanently and the ticket disappears from your inventory like using a Fantasia.

Or it's like a really long buff, as opposed to being permanent. If you think about it, if it lasted 24hours like FC abilities, even that would be pretty nice considering how much gil you could save doing stuff (teleing to Beast Quests, Mor Dhona, Home cities, Treasure hunts, etc). Not the greatest thing in the world, but still pretty nice. I think permanent would be going a bit too far.

Based on the German translation, it's an 1-time free port.

Saving 600 gil tops... I mean... that's.... extremely lame!!!!

That's most likely what it is, but some clarification would be nice as it's not a very clear description.

Reduced Rates makes me inclined to believe it won't be forever. so leaning towards pointless until proven otherwise.

Pessimist side of me comes to the conclusion that if it's a one time free tp that makes perfect sense for the chinese version which most likely will be F2P and have a cash shop.

I believe Chinese version will be subscription like Yoshi mentioned in an interview. Don't have source on me so you'll have to just take it.

If the ticket permanently reduce the teleport rate to 0 that would be quite OP, so I'm leaning more to the idea that it'll just give you a couple days worth of free teleport.

The item itself describes that you consume the item by using a teleport. It details very specifically. Why is this considered vague?


That said. This is a terrible reward for such a long subscription. A one time use free teleport for my continued subscription is a pretty big slap in the face considering the other prize is a minion I get to keep forever.
