30 days : minion + fantasia
60 days: minion + fashion clothes
90 days: minion + mount
180 days: minion + barding
270 days : minion + mount
360 days: minion + 50 ticket (around 20k) <----------- this one is the worst extra of them all
450 days: minion + barding

Worst? Because of the "low" value? Maybe you're one of the people with plenty of millions of gil to waste and it's useless to you, but there are those of us that struggle to keep our gil wallet from sinking into the red.
Or is it "worst" because it's something that will eventually disappear if used while minions and barding and mounts and fashion clothes stay?

if you simply do DFR (all 4 of them) and do your beastmen quest that is 16 -18k/day already and you got 400 philo tome for tome mats that sell for 2k/each on my server atm, what is your problem from keep your gil away from red ?

edit: oh yeah forget to mention that I do farm TH with peister map 2 time/week with 2 map each. With 6 ppl I can get to 30k depend on how many gil drop. So that 20k free teleport is the worst according to me

It's possible it's like the mount whistles, it's "consumed" but then you have access to them permanently. When this is consumed, do you have free teleports permanently?

I know you know this isn't true, but if we're given 50 "consumable" tickets....clearly it's not permanent. Otherwise we'd get one.

Lol. Not sure if serious or not. Majority of the game players aren't on forums and complaining about everything. If you take the forums for "99% of games player base" this game would have no sub's because there's about 10 topics a day about how terrible this game is blah blah blah. So yes, you have a few hundred people here on forums, but you have 500k online. Just gets old people try to say the minority are the ones not on forums.

If you are going to start using latin words to accentuate your arguments, start by taking a bit of time to organize your words. I never said one year of subscription is free. The gifts given to you for doing so is free, as a thank you for subscribing for this length of time. Stop feeling cheated because the item in question isn't something you feel is worth it. I will agree with you that anything that affects economy usually isn't a good thing, but for the 1.0 players who got completely obliterated by the loss of their hard work (namely, aetherytes and Van Darnus) that this little bit of something is better than nothing.



Though I am starting to wonder what the use is, people will always complain. If they gave out a fantasia potion instead of tickets, why do we only get 1? Why isn't it this or that. We want , we want, we want. It's ungrateful and embarrassing.. So I am leaving this thread behind.

It's not that they have to give us something. In fact, give something like that it's worst that don't give anything.

Let's say that you save the life of someone, puttin yours in risk to do that. If after that he says "Thank you, really thank you", that's totally ok. If he says "Thank you, really thank you, take those 20 dollars for saving me".... Woud you think that 20 dollars are a nice extra or woud like to punch him in the face?

It's more or less the same. For one year of subscription, either give only vanity, or if is some kind of non-vanity it has to be...Decent. Or players will feel that they're being insulted.

I woud give people 1 fantasia for each 3 months. Vanity, lot's of players ask for it, and have sense to let player changue his appearence more as more time pass.

It's not that 50 free teleports is a bad reward. It's just a bad 1 year reward. It would be all kinds of amazing as the 1 month reward however, as it's new players who will benefit the most, not old ones.

MurakumoMillennium got more or less of what I was getting at. There's an appropriate gift for certain situations/milestones.
In your analogy, would the good Samaritan really care for the 20 dollars, most likely not. It isn't like they would have the intention of planning to save someone for the monetary reward. They would most likely decline the reward all together. In a way they might find it even belittling a bit even from the offer, the one giving the reward is saying the risk they took is only worth a meal.

It'll be more like going to a friend's housewarming party and presenting said friend with a 10-day commuters train ticket, when they already have a house, a car, and is in financially secured position.
Sure they can use it to save some money, but the gift doesn't fit the situation.

Reminds me of the Parks and Recreation "Ann & Chris" episode, where the gang give Chris a pile of garbage for his farewell gift, and Chris politely accepts it.
