Either way, if what somebody on a video game says seriously bothers you, I would cringe at how you would handle an actual insult from your boss or loved ones in real life.

You don't get it. Most people play these games to get away from stuff like that. Bringing in a bad attitude and grief is not helping anyone. There are enough good people that understand this and won't act a certain way because "RL is just like that". I'm just saying, if you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all. I think they taught they in preschool also, no?

Again, I don't have any issues with name calling, I haven't called anyone out over dps.
I also plainly agreed with the OP that people shouldn't be attacked over it.
But if you're upset enough to make a post saying it should be banned over one bad experience, that's incredibly sensitive.

So I think it's you who doesn't get it, considering I never once supported the use of insults for poor performance, I simply insinuated the OP was overly sensitive in this particular incident.
