No I stopped posting because I was at work, and tell me, how was that particular comment lying? A comment like "Are you trolling, your damage was xxk" is just like saying "You suck" and yes I do consider people like that, who say things like that and offer no constructive advice, douchebags and scum, they are all toxic and are who gives the community a bad name.
I was using this thread as an example, if the community is going to use parsers for no reason but to put people down (read how something is said, not what is said) then yes they should be banned, as it can upset people or cause major damage to the game. I played many MMOs and this is the only time I have been called out in such a manner. If people want to keep parsers, and want to use them, you should all see how it only takes a few people to give a tool a bad name.
Lets look at keyloggers as an example of how this can work, they were designed for parents to see why their kid was shut in their room on their computer for hours, but hackers started using it for malicious uses, and now a keylogger is primarily seen as a hackers tool. How long will it be before parsers are seen in this game as a tool to show off epeen, or to put people down. I'm sure if SE wanted they could add a system to check whether a tool is accessing chat logs, or encrypt them to block or detect whether a parser is being used, and who would be to blame if SE were to do this, the people deliberately putting players down over dps.
I think a problem with the community are a-holes who have one bad experience with somebody who calls them out for playing poorly/lazily, and then come on the forum to vilify a whole group of people and say they're all bad people and should be banned.

I have nothing wrong with hardcore players, I don't have anything wrong with my FC parsing fights and telling me I need to improve, hell I don't even mind if I get told I need to improve in DF, just don't say it in a manner people will see as rude. My example from before was something along the lines of "Delsus, you had a very low dps, would you be able to focus a little more please" If there are more problems then yes by all means get more aggressive, but not in the first instance.
The thread here was to show people this kind of behavior is happening and if people keep reporting players for it then the parsers will be blocked or a tool added to detect use in order to ban all users.
Lets explain this with apples and oranges...
1.-. If you use the parser for private use or with your free company members "No problem", if you dont moan in shout, announcing that, nobody cares.
2.- If you use the parse for HARRAS, HUMILIATE, DISTURB OR TROLL your parthers. Then can be considered as serious bannable offense
Use the dam common sense...
If you use the duty finder, the chances you find newbies is insane high, if you cant deal with this stuff, DONT USE THE DUTY FINDER.
use the party finder or build a static...
ILV90 + Veteran players only.
Tanks WAR ONLY
DPS BLM,SMN AND BRD. No MONK/DRG.
You can create your masturbatory "Party" and let the world in peace ^_^.

Random TT fight:
“Does everyone have the parser which pre-shows her attacks? You have the timers?”
Them pro's. lol![]()
Oh well, that fight is still a good wall. One of the best in game. If not the best.
I like how somewhere along the lines telling someone to step it up turned into harassment.

Yep, I know. Your YT link was more than enough. I'd rather not get into the topic of DX injectors for other reasons.

Yes, given SE's stance on parsers, they obviously want people to use them to better themselves as even they acknowledged it's an important part of the PC gaming culture (they can't legally condone 3rd party apps though without an agreement between companies).
Knowing this, I suggest people that want to use parsers need to acknowldege you will be using them at your own risk. ONLY do so in settings in which everyone in your party/company is ok with. This will help to minimize that risk. If you decide to parse every instance with random people (even if you're in a 7-man premade), all it takes is that one random player to report you for saying his/her DPS or that you're parsing.
Actually, they can. They opt not to because they don't want parsers to become an integral part of the XIV culture (re: very casual).
Sounds to me like OP got all bent out of shape about being called out for being bad at the game. He came in and did so poorly that another player thought he was just coasting on the backs of his teammates. OP is crying because someone had the data on how bad he is rather than just having to guess. He actively states that he tried to get others banned as retribution, having absolutely nothing to do with an objection to the parser or parsing in general. OP is now on my ignorelist, and quite frankly, players who exhibit that sort of vindictive, abusive behavior don't deserve to play online games.
