While I'm not extra "chatty" person I like to help others as well as join for some dungeons and so on with less "random" players. I play regularly (although on multiply alts) so if you still have few slots left in your LS i can bring my little flock over

The simple answer is yes, there are people willing to help you work your way through content. First off, I would recommend you read through patch notes though to figure out what's been going on during the updates. As of such, I'll be updating this post from now on with the major patch notes.
