    Final boss of 1.0 is returning in the coils of bahamut!

    Not very many people have cleared turn 5 yet. Probably about 5-10% of the games population have actually cleared it.

    It's not a phantom or memory. They are indeed still alive somehow. I think it's just a standoff between the two right now. 2.2 will hopefully illuminate further.

    Actually Dano is correct, there's a reason Louisoix and Van Darnus don't say anything. Van Darnus was killed and absorbed by Dalamud/Bahamut. What we see of him is nothing more than an aetheric projection and if my theory is correct on memories being able to be altered by aether (the reason why NPCs did not remember the 1.0 players) then we may be able to use the Echo on Van Darnus and Louisoix...in Louisoix's case we'll be able to see what happened at the Battle of Cartaneau Flats.
