Something's wrong with these group of players

I was doing the Seasonal Event quest earlier, and I noticed a group of people who came in to the quest npc all at the same time,



I got curious so I followed them to see where they'll go,



Hmm. Now that's fishy, I continued following them, and voila! They're still the same group. (The quest flow is still fresh in my mind since I just finished doing it, so I guessed where they'll go next)



One player teleported, and guess what, here they are,



Really fishy eh? As I was uploading the first batch of screenshots, when I tabbed back in the game, TADA!



Now my question is, WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD THEY DO THAT?

It doesn't look very fishy too me.. Could just be friends in the same party using eachothers teleports to save money.
There wouldn't be any benefit for RMT to do that seasonal event either.. XD

A group of friend won't use "Follow" all the time, yes?

wish they would just remove the follow feature. i only see it in use when people are multi-boxing. and just a few guesses.. but this is an example of someone multi-boxing for their own leveling needs, rmt power leveling, or these are accounts used to accumulate gil in order to then sell it to rmt websites.

More than likely just multi-boxing. While many people frown on it, it's not against the rules.

A group of people playing an MMO together, 3 of them from the same FC, doing a seasonal event together that could aide them in RMT activity in no way?! Unheard of! Report them immediately!!

I'm sorry but it makes a statement about the game and the community when you have someone suspiciously stalking people because they're in a group in an MMO.

I was levelling my chocobo with 3 friends the other day and had someone send me a trade request, I accepted it and he closed the trade. I ?'ed him and he said "lol srry was just checking you weren't RMT farming bots". Sigh...
