    I agree with an idea about forcing loot dialog completion, if result can be determined before everyone rolls. Probably some people don't understand this - it only shortens timer, it doesn't change the outcome. Loot is given not when he can need loot, no, it is given when he pressed need, that is the whole point.

    It doesn't harm statics and gearing other jobs, because if someone pressed need, it doesn't matter, that I won't get drop now, or I won't get it in 2 minutes.

    About getting loot after you left instance - this can be hard or impossible due to technical implementation. The fact, that it was implemented in another game means nothing. Other game could have different architecture, designed to support that, and rewriting game core to support this is not an option.

    I'd been told it had been fixed, but it hasn't. And I've ended-up having to stay in a dungeon until the very end because some asshat is trying to get the loot via default rather than rolls.

    Aside the OP exiting an instance before loot is handled, it is true some little changes can be done:
    • Have the loot instant given, when you are the only one in party with "need" option and you press need;
    • If you must pass an item because you cannot get it for any reason, the item roll window just does not need to show on, and system will make you pass automatically (maybe with a system message who tells you that);

    All the above, surely are little changes, and none is game breaking. I'll call them as refining something that already works as intended.

    That doesn't make this any less worth talking about. If you're happy with it, then that's cool. But a heck of a lot of people aren't and it needs to be fixed. Why should I have to sit around in a dungeon for fear of losing loot if I leave?
