    Transfering rights on PS3

I would like to purchase a hard copy of the Collector's Edition of ARR and give my standard hard copy to a family friend so that we can play together.

My question is; Is this possible? She already has a SE account from FFXI and she can set up her own subscription, but I would like to provide her my legally paid for hard copy and her be able to use it.

    Please give me positive news

You can swap the hard copy all you want... what matters is the code. Once used, that's it. It's bound to your PSN now, and can't be used again. You can use it on other machines because you can access PSN on other PS3's--but it is bound to your account and it's characters now and is not transferable. At least, that's how I've come to understand it (pretty much how it was set up with XI).

You can upgrade your Standard Edition to Collector's Edition in the Mog Station so you don't have to buy the full CE, but your friend will need his/her own code in order for you to play together. The standard edition has been going on sale too... saw it on Newegg for like $19 or something in a flash sale. PC is still $20.
