Odin Gear/Mirage System

from the 2.2 preview notes, it says

That said, glamours can be used as follows:

They can be used on all gear the same or lower equipment level than your current gear.
After using a glamour prism, the gear being copied can be entrusted to your retainer.
As long as the base gear and the gear being copied occupy the same number of gear slots, you can copy the appearance of any gear equippable by your current class or job.

So I'm assuming because odin's body takes up 4 slots worth of gear, it will be impossible to use this set for the mirage system? Or was there something I missed? Thanks!

Also, apparently you won't even be able to use it until you are already lvl 50 Gld/Pld and only with gear of it's ilvl or higher....

So basically useless while leveling up. Great job SE, great job.

This reply is just sad, nothing constructive just furious I never got the chance to read those posts. Next time don't assume because you've seen something everyone's seen it, a simple linked thread without the need of insulting my intellect would do just fine.

I am not a big fan of being able to make your gear look however you want. dealing with ugly gear should be part of "making choices"

if you want to know whats wrong with modern MMO's, Vanity systems, and supporters of such systems are one of the small things that add up to the dumbinging of mmos.

Given that the Odin set is one of the few sets of gear in the game that were clearly DESIGNED for the vanity system it astounds me that it is one of the few sets of gear that cannot be used with it... I sincerely hope they plan to split the Odin body piece into four separate pieces.

If you think giving players more freedom with character customization is dumbing down (when in reality it's actually adding more depth) then I think your perception of what's wrong with modern MMOs is very... misguided. Maybe you should take a look at things like challenging content and lack of social interaction instead; I think most people would agree they're more a cause for concern.

But again, its apologies, not apologize. I know I must seem like an ass for saying something like that but it really annoys me when I see someone misspell a word and make it look like another word.
