Ultima Ballad, why are DPS all terrible? (DF EXPERIENCE)

Let me just clarify that as a tank (and new player) I am currently at i73 and I have run this for the last week and a half on a daily basis. Even tho it it not required for tanks to move away from the aoe that spawn on the ground after garuda I ALWAYS AVOID ANY TYPE OF AOE AVOIDABLE DAMAGE. After garuda is done I move to a spot (my personal sweet spot) for when ifrit shows up that I do not have to move until the last aoe hits in which I just simply step outside the circle then come back. I have this fight memorized in my brains after doing it for so long, but as many as you guys have said people get confused at the adds and ifrit phase. Also, when I said ultima starts hitting like a truck at about 40% I meant his laser attack which does around 2.5k damage right after a 1.5k tank purge (or pretty close to it)

Bard's Ultima accessories are in some ways better than their i90 counterparts because of the accuracy.

I done Ultima few times only ( no need to do it more than that lol ) both was DF wins . Idk how it goes now , but at release ppl's def DF'ed it and win w/o problem , same was for moogle ;0

everytime, i see people forming for ultima HM, i always has the same question, why do ultima when you can farm Xm Primal. (except necklace, but i would rather get it from coil or buying myth) most of people i have know will not farm ultima, unless it for helping friend for quest or got bored LOL. imho, if you have time to learn and form ultima, use those to Learn Xm Primal, Titan Xm delay issue can be overcome by moving a head of time and hang back behind your team so you only get hit by 1 plume.

Some of us 'are' prefectionist and want to have every fight on record just in case you need said fight for future xpacs.

Tanked everything in the game using my trusty Ultima Choker and Ring of Fending. Also the BGM fits really well with the fight, and the whole thing is just pretty fun. Way more fun than garuda EX.
