The simple answer to this thread now is...
We'll all adjust to the systems that they put in place and then they will become the norm.
We might whine and complain, but we'll adjust and then whine and complain about something else.

It's basically in place to counterbalance leve link bonuses and aspect. Otherwise people would be getting 1200 sp per kill or something crazy like that. But now that they're fixing the crazy guildleve bonuses (do the math, they were pretty crazy), they should raise the 10 lvl sp cap to 20.
Not exactly sure if they're planning it, but iId keep pushing them for it if they're going to nerf leve party bonuses.
I don't care if no-one talks when you play. Go get a LS or something, no need to cry about it here.
@bolded: You talking about linking? If so, you have no idea because it's the opposite what you say.Linking was a CHOICE, people FORCED it much like cookie cutting in ffxi. You didn't nor do have to link if you do not wish to. And it also made it so people can do levels all day instead of just 8.
Leve party without linking: 8x leve a, 8x leve b, 8x leve c = 24 leves
Leve party with linking: 2x full link a, 2x full link b, 2x full link c = 6 leves
Bit defensive just because someone stated a fact lmao If your that insecure stop being such a loner and talk to the community more in game. MMO's are known for communication, not all of us want to solo and keep to ourselves while remaining reliant on our LS's and being rude to the outside community. It's clear you misunderstood the other comment too, read posts fully otherwise makes you look like even more of an *** .I don't care if no-one talks when you play. If only 14's community was half of what 11's was o.O...
I love how you think that we'll have solo-based casual leves without any hardcore party content in the future =)
It is Obvious that we'll have something else to do instead!
You people need to stop whining... Getting 50k+ sp/hour is way too much, from what I remember when the game was released in grind parties you would be happy if you could already get 13k-15k sp/hour, took effort and time, but you actually felt like you achieved something when you hit 50, right now in grind parties you can get 20k+ sp/hour easily, and about the "too many parties will be grinding in the same spot" shit, like you guys say, the game doesn't have many people so don't expect that many parties grinding out in the field and even if you do find another party, there is still more spots to grind, Eorzea is fucking huge, explore it, you'll find other grinding spots for sure.
Overall, leves make you level way too fast, getting a class from 1-50 in 3-5 weeks while playing 1-2 hours per day is beyond stupid, the ones complaining about leves getting nerfed are either: a) lazy, b) want everything in their hand, c) want to get 50 as fast as possible just to say they have 50.
kthx bye
(Sorry for the rant~)
All I read was "I'm a masochist and like poorly designed leveling systems! I want to be a special because I can sit there and grind for 12hrs straight. I love to afk in ul'dah after my feat of strength! that took no skill but just time committed!"
Leveling too fast, really? LOL. People are really grasping at straws.

7h from 48 to 50. That's SLOW AS HELL.
I hope you didn't see this as sarcasm because I meant it.
I really don't understand why anyone would complain about how fast it is to level up. I've played MMO's since 1998 starting with lineage 1 which is the grindest game of all time, I've played all of them. The only game I ever gave a crap about when it came to leveling was WoW because your char was always involved in a zones story.
Is that really too much to ask for when it comes to FFXIV? give my char a sense of purpose to exist in this world while i'm leveling up. I don't want to hear theres evil fiends everywhere only to see dodo's, rats, ladybugs, nannygoats and then string me along with mission quests every x amount of levels.
I don't care what they do with the leveling system. I want it to be fun, grinding mobs for 10hrs is not fun.

Anyway, just to say that he was discussing about leveling up and not having fun. Having Fatigue anyway augments the slowness, so there's no problem on that.
At least someone like me that says grinding for big time ain't fun =)
