So far, nobody mention field grinding, I think it is pretty good SP. Of course not as quick as leves-full-link, but it can be done for longer period and it is at least as good as double link leve.

At least once every other page someone has mentioned field grinding. Not the point though. Some players want to know what their main focus for party progression is. Some people have gone off track with this a little bit in assuming that others think they cannot rank without a ridiculously fast system in place.
If guildleves are solo centered. What are your plans for party centered progression? Straight from the horses mouth is the best way to quash this debate.
this is not the problem. when you are a single group the respawn rates cover your party enough to get a decent amount of sp. i do alot of grind parties and do enjoy them. the problem is when more groups come to those spots the spawn rate isn't high enough to support multiple parties. if they fixed the respawn rate with the leve change it can be better in the long run. i just understood that those changes would be done later. that means the grinding will become less viable until then.

I think Field Grinding should be a viable way to obtain decent SP. If only that 10 level SP cap was not in place...
Love how lots of people in here are assuming people JUST go where they can get marks and only care about em and nothing else... people will go where they want and marks are insanely easy to get. Most people either don't care about em or got what they wanted/needed long time ago(And the ones that don't won't be farming marks forever)... you'll still get varied pt's even in limsa ... lmao It's also not like you cant go to Limsa as a non marauder to get leves... you can still pick up leves elsewhere as a mrd ... Anyways that's all I'm gonna say, just hilarious the amount of posts that use this excuse to try to back up their unfounded statements >.< Thanks for making me laugh though^^ Hehe
The big problem with field grinding is as you say; the bonuses from leves greatly overshadow grinding. (At least they're fixing leves now.) What they need to do is add something like a EXP ring or make Aspect work outside of leves (would have to restrict time and/or sp cap per use depending on Anima spent). Then, players would be able to grind on a bonus, but it would be geared towards casual players also since it has limitations.
After that, they can get rid of fatigue already. All the bonuses in the world don't matter if you get fatigued.
